Every tender shoot grows green
and withers to brown one day
Every flower will be sucked through its tendons
and become nothing one day

Every pebble was part of a strong rock
Every raindrop seeping into the earth
was once cradled by a cloud flock

The tiny feet twisting within a womb
grow old to wrinkle and tremble
The  heart raging wild
turns gentle before  it shrivels

The earth dancing before the mighty sun
grows old with every turn
The bubbling waves too will someday
crash and burn

The bubble from a straw
gifts you a smile before bursting over your fingers
The morning sun settles into your eyes
then seeps into your heart, and then like a sunset.. lingers..
