Change is a constant. Change is hard-wired in every thing and today every aspect of life must welcome it, embrace it to avoid being obsolete. AIESEC in Delhi University (the Delhi chapter of the largest student run organisation worldwide) understands this fact. It has been organising corporate events and creating social entrepreneurship modules to address the idea of change since 1984.
This year, it presents The HR Summit on November 3 at The Grand- New Delhi; to unite Human Resource professionals from the top companies in the city and give them the chance to pause and dwell upon their struggles, triumphs and challenges.
The remarkable thing is that the students from Delhi University have on their own managed this show from ideation to execution. The core purpose of the event is to gaze squarely at the impediments that clutter urban workscapes and to find systematic solutions that can serve future corporate leaders. The keynote speaker is NS Rajan, Ex NHRD President and now with Ernst & Young. Among other panelists are Suresh Rajpal (CEO, Visnova Solutions), Akshat Rathee (CEO, Nodwin Group of Companies), Jeyadev Parthasarathy (Founder of Quadrangle Consultancy which later merged with naukri.com), Harshvendra Soin (Chief People’s Officer, Fortis Healthcare Ltd) and Amit Bhatia (Founder & CEO, Aspire Human Capital Management). The debates will ofcourse revolve around international human resource management, varied cultures and diversity in the workplace, the utilisation of global talent, the significance of networking and people management.
The audience will have CEOs of conglomerates, a Board of Advisors (AIESEC India and AIESEC in Delhi University ), HR professionals and undergraduate students. With this event as with many events in the past and those slated for the future, AIESEC’s impact on the corporate world, continues to grow.
The most important message this summit conveys is that the youth are helming change at every level and will steer the decision making in key areas in the years to come.
