touch-screen

All around they keep fighting. About ideals, emotions, justice, love, life. They keep debating, elevating their minds intellectually. Superficially.

And then I notice, there’s no more heart. No one puts their heart into something anymore. Maybe that’s our tragedy. The flow of emotions has just been displaced into a virtual environment and our emotions have moved out of this life and embedded themselves in computer and phone chips. Electronics have engulfed our lives and we have offered ourselves in sacrifice to protons and neutrons created by our own (mechanical) arms.

Nowadays nothing is real anymore in our physical world. Two worlds face themselves in a a mirror, and collide.

Were we ever satisfied by our reflection in the mirror? Did we ever live in it? The mirror is but a reflected reality, not reality itself. Our hearts and minds bounce back and forth against touch screens.

Nothing is real in the virtual world. If people realized that, would they pour their heart into human relationships again?

What if true intelligence was the one coming from the heart?
