Thank you so much

St. Nicholas –‘Santa’ of the world

Your very name

Jingles the bells

Of jollity and gaiety.

But today…

I stand here with heavy heart

Looking within…

………………..

They say ‘You give

Toys to the good children and

Coal to the naughty ones’

Unworthy of all your goodies;

Our souls burnt black

With sins of hatred and violence

We deserve nothing but pieces of coal.

But let this coal burn all our sins,

Burnish the soul anew,

With love and kindness

For the suffering humanity.

Scramble through your bag, O Santa!

For a magic wand

And save us from further ruin..

………………..

Where are the Magi?

Those three wise men from the East?

Who traced the ‘Divine Star’,

Ushering in the ‘New Awakening’

And blessed the Baby Christ?

Invoke them for us, O Santa..

Tell them

It’s time for the ‘Second Coming.’

Tell them to take the journey once again,

(Far tougher this time)

Let them trace the ‘Divine Star,’

Let the ‘Son of God’ descend in our lives,

Let the Dawn of Peace, Goodwill, and Love

Remove the darkness from our hearts..

………………..

Scramble  through your bag, O Santa!

For a magic wand,

To save us from further ruin..
