The Alliance Française de Bangalore along with the Foundation Alliance Française is organizing a Photography Competition on the theme ‘Objectif Sport’.
Sports have had a strong part to play in modern as well as traditional society. Thus, participants throughout the world will put in an image that depicts the best sporting activities in their countries. The picture should transmit the main values of that discipline: tolerance, open-mindedness, social inclusion and team cohesion.

CALENDAR
The Photo Contest started on March 1st 2016 and ends on May 1st 2016, midnight.
- May 16th 2016: The jury of Alliance Française de Bangalore will name its winner and send the 2 selected photos to the Foundation Alliance Française.
- May 30th 2016: Naming of the final contest winner by the jury of the Foundation Alliance Française.
PRIZES AWARDED
- Some of the photos submitted by the finalists and those of the grand prize winner will be exhibited in a group exhibition in a Parisian space chosen by the Foundation.
- The Grand Prize Winner will be invited for one week in Paris. Air fares (economy class round- trip), lodging (youth hostel category or the equivalent) for one week in Paris, and per diem at €40/day will be provided to the winner by the Foundation.
TO PARTICIPATE
Please, follow the instructions below:
- Participants must not be professional full-time photographers and must be above 18 years of age.
- Print and mail or email us the Participation form on the website to communication.bangalore@afindia.org.
- For the preselection, each participant must submit 2 photos in TIFF file format (preferred) or JPEG format (as an alternative) with a resolution of 300 dpi minimum.
- Submit your pictures through the following website wetransfer.com to communication.bangalore@afindia.org.
