The wings of the wind,
whisper words withered at the corners,
while flying from your side of the ocean
to mine,

But they drown in the noise,
and I try to find
the broken shards of your words,
but there are none..

When we were together ,
we watched our hearts dance in the frenzied rain,
But across the curtains of land and sea,
they now wander through the damp clouds of pain,

Have we lost each other?
or has the fear of loneliness scared us into believing this?
Do you still love me?
Or is my touch a memory that you no longer miss?

Does the moon still shine upon your memories of me?
Does the soft silence of sleep come alive with my voice?
Or do your dreams take you far away from me?

The wind is silent
The trees are still
The night like my heart is
empty of you..and of moon light,

But your memories flood my dreams,
across timetables of sun and stars,
While a hope, unites lips with smiles,
eyes with hopes, promises with faith,

And I decide to wait, for the wind to bring me your words,
For your hand to fill mine, for our hearts to dance again,
and do a rain-washed waltz like the birds.
I wait………..
I will wait…
