Little brown seeds so small and round
Are sleeping quietly underground
Down come the raindrops
Sprinkle, sprinkle, sprinkle
Out comes the rainbow,
Twinkle, twinkle, twinkle.
Little brown seeds way down below,
Up through the earth they grow, grow, grow,
We cant see the roots which are underground,
They hold up the plant without a frown,
Stems carry water up by the roots,
It helps the leaves to produce the food,
Little green leaves grow one by one,
They make food for the plant with the help of the sun,
Buds become flowers standing pretty and tall,
Bringing joy and smile to the face of all.
Some flowers become fruits for us to eat,
They are juicy and tasty, some sour, some sweet,
We must grow plants which become big trees
And shout out aloud- Go-Green, Go-Green.
