Sometimes strolling in a park,
Or walking by the sea
At times lazing on a terrace,
Or ambling in an open space,
Be a nobody, a stranger.
Don’t mingle.
Collect yourself within.
Listen to the sound of the waves,
The squeals of children playing,
Or the din of the traffic moving.
See the sky, trees, flowers,
Hues of blues and greens.
Neither to gain, gather nor to draw inference.
But simply to Be.
DISENGAGE thus
And learn to draw closer to Being.

By far the simplest and most effective definition of meditation. Reading the poem itself inspires silence.
Yes true. It tries to define meditation.
Thank you, Vidhi.
