Dehradun is all set to witness its  first ever major literary event this April. World Integrity Center, India (WIC India) – the most sought after cultural hub in Dehradun, is gearing up to host the festival in the city on 22nd and 23rd April, 2016. The festival’s organizing partners include the Harvard Club of India and Springhead Communications.

25 renowned fiction and non-fiction authors along with 6 of the top publishing houses and 10 engaging moderators will regale avid book readers at the literary extravaganza. It is expected to host more than 5000 visitors over two days.

The visiting authors include the Sinclair prize winner – Nayantara Sehgal, Durjoy Dutta, Ashwin Sanghi, Novoneel Chakraborty, Dev Lahiri, Humra Quraishi, Roshen Dalal, Ranjit Lal, Mona Verma, Swapna Liddle, Omair Ahmad, Rachna Bisht Rawat, Sumedha Mahajan, Kota Neelima, Sumrit Shahi and counting.

It is an occasion that will turn the picturesque city of Dehradun into an international hub for book enthusiasts and authors. Dehradun and Mussoorie are home to some of the most prominent authors like Ruskin Bond.

The visitors at the festival will also get to witness a book fair hosted by top fiction and non-fiction book publishers, scrumptious in-house gourmet world cuisine and a rocking live music performance by Swatantra rock band ‘EKA.’
