Lately, Lord Krishna is a regular visitor in my REM sleep.
The other night he was standing on the ghats of Benares, mesmerizing all with his melodious flute. Our eyes met with an unexplainable longing . Slyly he beckoned me to walk down the steps with him. I followed- like a dog follows his master. Lovingly , he placed me in the arms of Baba Moinuddin Chisti. I slept peacefully.

Last night I once again saw him in a chariot pulled by four white horses, his ink blue body resplendent against the virgin whites of the horses. His strong arms urging me to elope with him. Radha and Rukmini were nowhere in sight. Mira too had failed to hold onto him. This eternal casnaova had fallen in love with an eternal romantic-Me.

Could it be an invitation from the universe to resurrect the dying love within me? Could it be my need to understand love of a different kind?
Perhaps yes.
Love  sought. Love found. Love immortalised.

I wake up. My palette beckons…my canvas waits. Krishna here I come.
