Calming, subtle, silently running along like a film on your window frame.
Different scenes painting the road side,
living for a short while and before you realize..gone.
You sit back,
listen to your favourite songs and
watch out for what life portrays next.
A guitar strum,
a hidden harmony,
and the vivid tabla echoes..
that which otherwise would have been drowned
by routine.
Gentle wind brushes against your hair,
you feel light,
empty
and happy
just being..
yourself.
Shweta Rao is an M.Sc (Electronic Media) graduate from Anna University. Apart from writing, her hobbies include music and painting. She enjoys singing as much as she does, playing different chords of the keyboard. Every piece she paints or writes, carries with it, a part of her soul.
