Old Grandma sat on her chair in the verandah looking ar her four grandchildren, sad and jealously wishing she was young like them. She remembered all the fun and freedom she had as a little girl and how after a long day of school, her mother would make lemonade and cucumber sandwiches for her.

She also remembered the bad things she did as a child, like stealing her friend’s eraser, skipping classes and even beating up the Principal’s daughter! But all that has passed now, she thought. She was stuck with a bunch of kids to look after and a boring life.

Then she decided, “Why not do these things once more?”
So she got out of her chair, went to a school and attended a class. The children and teachers thought she was crazy but she did not care so they left her alone. All she cared about right now was having a good time. She cheekily stole an eraser from a child and smiled to herself. After school was over, she learnt that the Principal’s daughter was standing outside the classroom and bullying everyone so Grandma walked upto her, punched her lightly on the nose and walked off. Then she left the school and looked for a house with a kid living in it. When she found one, she went inside asked the mother for a glass of lemonade and two cucumber sandwiches. After she ate all that, she felt really happy and she was a child once again.

Then she remembered, she had to go back to her house to take care of her grandchildren. When she reached home, she found that all her grandchildren were fast asleep on the hammock. She looked at them and smiled and then went to sleep herself.
